The Lone Wanderer

“So ends the story of the Lone Wanderer, who stepped through the great door of Vault 101 and into the annals of legend. But the tale of humanity will never come to a close, for the struggle of survival is a war without end, and war – war never changes.” -Ron Perlman

Okay , so I just finished playing Fallout 3 Broken Steel again. I guess 5 times already… but I’m still not satisfied   about the story of the lone wanderer, what happened to him, where did the lone wanderer ended up, that kind of stuff. oh by the way, I refer the lone wanderer as a him even though in fallout 3, no lone wanderer can either be male or female. and based on the official fallout 3 trailers, the lone wanderer is a guy. anyways, the reason why I made this post is that I decided to make my own version of the story of the lone wanderer two months after the events of Broken Steel.

Two Months after the lone wanderer destroyed the Enclave Mobile Base Crawler at the Adams Air Force Base, The lone Wanderer decided to leave capital wasteland and venture to the north thru Strech 95 (I-95) together with his loyal companion, meatdog. along the way, he met different people, seen many different places, discovered new settlements, and of course fought a lot of creatures, raiders, and gangs of bandits. until he finally end up in a settlement called Greenville outpost, a paramilitary settlement under the control of Libertonian Government along route 78. there he met a girl named Sophia, another wanderer that looks and acts almost exactly like Sarah Lyons. the difference is that Sophia is kind of a bit tsundere. if you don’t know what tsundere means, Google it!

He stayed in Greenville outpost for about 3 and a half months ’till he decided continue his journey thru route 78 together with Sophia and Meatdog. eventually, the lone wanderer met a group of merchants and mercs, started a new settlement around the ruins of Central Rail Terminal in New Jersey and named the town of Catherine. The lone wanderer and sophia ended up fallin’ in love with each other, got married, and eventually had a son which he named james. The Settlement of Catherine became a populous and became a City under the leadership of the lone wanderer. he died at the age of 89.

That’s it. my own version of the story of the lone wanderer after the events of Broken Steel. hope you enjoy this article.

Cheers!
